About

Undecided Baby celebrates that special time in our lives when everything is so new, so unfamiliar, and so surprising that we don’t have many opinions or preferences.

As infants, we first learn to distinguish ourselves as independent beings. Then we start placing ourselves into the broader world, developing trust in our caregivers and wrestling with heady concepts like object permanence.

It’s a process to celebrate, and it's going to be a while before we have a favorite sports team or political soapbox.

Of course, as parents, we take great joy and pride in sharing our values with our kids and bringing them into the worlds that we enjoy. At the same time, it feels wonderful to celebrate their individuality - and to prepare ourselves for all the expressions of individuality to come!

We are a small family company, bringing our experiences as parents, parents-to-be, auncles, cousins, advocates, teachers and friends to very young people into a brand that celebrates individuality and pushes back - just a bit - on the instinct to begin “shaping” those people into little versions of ourselves. Of course we’re not above celebrating and passing on our cultural heritage either - you will find our kids showing off college mascots, national flags, and baby Grogu gear too! With Undecided Baby, we’re just choosing to represent another value that we think is super important: celebrating individuality and creating space for a healthy self-identity as young humans explore their world.

Along with spreading those values and some smiles with our clothing, we also give back: Undecided Baby donates 5% of our net profits to organizations helping young people explore identity and their place in the world. Check out our partner for 2023/24, the Flourish Foundation
